AC going crazy

My AC is going crazy after some friends of mine pulled a lever that is located under my "328ic convertible" back seat. It looks like this lever disconnects all my convertible's soft top motors,entering into an emergency mode which locks many of the vehicle systems.

Since then, the ac control unit turns off and on randomly and sometimes does not respond when I press any of the buttons. When this happens, hot air starts coming out of the back seat window duct only.


Any suggestions as to how to reset the system or unlock it?
