E36 OBC Language Asterisk (*)?

Hi,

As I'm a new guy here I hope this goes to the right section! Any way I've noticed that when an 18 button OBC is unlocked & the language changed, the country code then has an asterisk ( * ) displayed to the right - even if its set back to the default country. Please can someone tell me what this means? Also should anyone want to know what the Einheit 1 & 2 codes are on my '97 328i Coupe (air con, drvrs air bag) they are 79 & FF. This may help if changing an to an OBC from a different model as I think I've read some one was having trouble but cant find the link here yet..
