Heated Seats Coming on by Themselves

OK, Wife keeps saying her heated seat comes on by itself. It doesn't happen all the time and the heated seat switch isn't lighting up when this happens. otherwise they work fine when turned on. I try to tell her its cause she has a hot butt

She has a 97 328 Convertible. No other issues with the car. I turn car to on position in the garage for 30 45 mins but the seat isn't getting hot by itself......has anyone ever had this happen???
