They are the same as most cars, remove them properly and reassemble them properly and you will have no problems. Fail to do that and you will mess it up rightly and it wont forgive you

looking at the cover and from what i can gather i basicaly need to remove the pipe at the rear of the cover and romove all be bolts, making sure i lift it of square and not to prise it of with a crow bar hahaha. and i would put a new seal back on when it come to replacing it.

Yup thats how, gentle even pressure when lifting and then when putting it back on you want to work in a symetrical fashion, back left bolt 1st, front right bolt 2nd, middle left bolt 3rd, middle right bolt 4th and so on. Make sure to remove all of the original gasket aswel and it wouldn't hurt getting a metal ruler and checking all flat surfaces for warping while you have the head off.

HI
it would also be a good idea to get the head checked aswell(pressure tested) and the such to ensure that it will be ok in years to come. if you are only doing the rocker cover then just make sure that the gasket is ok and it would not hurt to use a little instant gasket around it.
also with the head it is best to replace all seals and gaskets.
