Hi, I'm new on here, just wondering if anyone knows what the best way to lower a '98 318ti is? And if anyone wants to know why I'm bothering to lower a compact, I just like them, ok?
Depends how much you wanna spend. Cut your springs, buy coil overs, buy shorter/lowering springs from someone like Apex, put a bigger engine in the front and a bag of cement in the back, put smaller wheels on it. The possibilities are endless.
hmmm, yes, bag of cement and bigger engine! I'll have all the joys of less mpg but I'll be slowed down by the cement, thus avoiding speeding tickets! Definitely the way to go! Seriously though, I've been searching through various websites and I've narrowed it down to FK or Weitec coilovers or uprated spring and dampers from H&R. Has anyone had any experience with these?
