main fuse

Hey all in need of sum urgent help,My car was parked 4 a week or more ,battery died removed it had it sent 2 da charger .fetched it the next day checking terminals I put it back when I closed the boot there was smoke in the Bonet quickly removed the Battery ,Problem is it burnt the power cable 4rm starter 2 alternator n opend the rear windows ,removed the burnt n tried closing windows to no avail ,wot could b the problem ,a friend said its the main fuse n have no idea where that is ?pliz help
