vanos noisy

hi first a .my 1995 325i vanos is making a noise and no power under 3000 rpm.is there a kit for the vanos?

sounds like a rattle and no power under 3000rpm .Mechanic told me i would have to replace the vanos

What part did he say was needing replacing??
The VANOS is controlled by the E.C.U. and the rest are small mechanical parts, the most common failure is the piston seals.
You can buy kits for the seals but the rest are individual parts and purchased as.
