wire/connector identification

I just bought a 1998 323 IS that had electrical issues, so far all codes have been tracked down to loose connectors under the hood, which is fantastic news. I can not identify 2 unattached connectors.... Coming off the wire harness at around the top of the front passenger fender is a wire that is long enough to drape over the front bumper and touch the pavement. It t's into two wires that each terminate with matching dual contact white plastic plugs. One t'ed wire is longer than the other, as if you plug it into the passenger and driver sides of the car. We have taken off the bumper cover and searched all over with no luck. The alarm horn is missing, but the wires seem too long for that. Both connectors and main feed wires are (i'm pretty sure solid) Brown and (certian) Green/yellow.
I spent hours with the manual and pouring over the wiring diagrams HELPPP!!!

It's probably a little late for WieGehts but shady13, do you have fog lights?
Fog light plugs are white and there's be one on each side of the car.

Hello. Yes, I guess he has never been here after posting this thread)) Yes, I do have the fog light, but they are already connected, so it is not them...(
Here is more info about my story, may be anyone can help:

I have about 4 free connectors right now in the area of right hand headlight.

Here is the colors combinations in free wires:

1. Black/violet + violet/brown
2. Yellow/green + brown
3. Black/blue + brown
4. Yellow + brown(this one is for the fog light)
5. Yellow/green + brown

For the references: My car is a 1994 coupe with m50b20(Europe). I have climate control in my car, so some of the wires might be for the air conditioner or compressor, but still I can not understand where to plug it in. My headlights are working fine, turn signal is connected and working as well. The windshield water pump is not connected as well, but none of those "free" wires made it work

By the way, may be some of them are from the heated windshield water jets...?

I'll see if I can find time to have a look under my bonnet and in the Bentley manual in the next few days.

They don't seem to come out in the right area to be heated washer jets.

I had a quick look.

There's not many plugs on that side of the engine bay. The air conditioning drier is there but it's a 4 pin so that's not one of them.

My washer pump is a white plug and the Bentley manual says it's Violet/Black + Brown/Violet you might need to check your fuses.

I can't see anything about the others

ok, thanks for your efforts! I was trying to plug in to the washer pump one by one, but didn't succeed...I guess I have to take it to the specialist...
